Cloud roads to the capital markets

Slowly but steadily, more and more investment companies, as well as capital markets, agree on the fact that cloud services provide impressive benefits. It is out of the question that here cloud computing is implied, where IaaS and data management are the key tools.

Despite this, there are still enough companies that express concern regarding security level that cloud services are able to provide. The conclusion is based on data, reflecting the following figures: approximately one third of the present-day companies have adopted using the public cloud, while two thirds are skeptical about such aspects as compliance, security and data control. Nevertheless, some of them report that they are planning to increase spending on public cloud.

The investment market could find some benefits with regard to the public cloud; at the same time, the investment market professionals have to be a little more risk averse concerning where their data is.

All in all, the following trend has outlined itself: security concerns with regard to public cloud still prevail over all the benefits that cloud technology brings.
